Before You Visit
A few things to know before visiting Cross Bank Farm.
Cross Bank Farm is a working smallholding, not a commercial attraction or petting farm. The experiences here are intentionally kept small, relaxed and personal, with the wellbeing of both guests and animals always coming first.
Clothing & Footwear
The farm includes uneven ground, mud, grass and outdoor spaces in all weather conditions. Sensible footwear and practical clothing are strongly recommended. We’d gently advise against white trainers.
Weather
Experiences run in most weather conditions unless it would be unsafe or genuinely unpleasant for the animals or guests. If severe weather forces us to postpone, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to rearrange.
Animals
All interaction with animals is supervised. Guests must follow instructions at all times and treat the animals calmly and respectfully. We reserve the right to end any interaction if we feel the welfare of the animals may be compromised.
Smoking & Vaping
Cross Bank Farm is entirely smoke-free and vape-free, both for the comfort of guests and the wellbeing of the animals and wildlife.
Children
Children are very welcome but must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Accessibility
The farm is an old rural site with uneven ground and natural surfaces throughout. Please contact us before booking if you would like to discuss accessibility requirements and we’ll always do our best to help.
Cancellations
Bookings cancelled more than 7 days before the experience will receive a full refund. Unfortunately cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable unless we’re able to refill the space.
A Final Note
The farm is intentionally quiet, small-scale and unhurried. Most people arrive expecting to spend time with animals and leave realising they needed the slower pace far more than they thought.
