Meet the Cross Bank Quails

If you're reading this, you're probably holding a box of eggs from our farm and for that, we would like to thank you for supporting us.
Here at Cross Bank Farm, our Cross Bank Quails are a busy flock of Celadon & Coturnix quail, small in size but big in character.
All industrious, quick on their feet and very serious about feeding time.

Quail eggs may be small, but they are rich, creamy and beautifully speckled. They have a higher yolk-to-white ratio than hen eggs, which gives them their distinctive flavour and texture. Every shell pattern is individual, and each hen often lays eggs with her own recognisable style.

Our quail are fed daily on fermented corn, seeds and fresh vegetables, with space, shelter and enrichment to do proper quail things.

Hunt the eggs and hunt the quail! Done with patience and calm, it’s a game we play on a daily basis with these masters of disguise!
